Missile Defense System Dead
El Presidente decided to appease the Russians today by scraping the missile defense system and leaving our allies in Poland and the Czech Republic high and dry as they continue to worry about Russian expansion (See Article). Our government seems to be making deals with Russia, exchanging action on the Iranian front for a less safe America. This must be that “change” we can all believe in and the new diplomacy that Obama promised would solve the Iranian problem. Appeasement is a four letter word in liberal circles like universities, broadcast news channels, newspapers and the beltway but that is exactly what this is and the stench from it is unbearable. Our new government is so very concerned with keeping everyone happy and calm that they are willing to put the American public’s well being in the line of fire. Why, you ask? It’s simple. Make decisions that weaken America and you make your critics (Russia, EU,China,The Ayatollah himself) more than willing to do the hard work for you. I’m sick to my stomach. I need a drink. One glass, a few ice cubes and a nice pour of Basil Hayden should do the trick.
