This is true—but you have to realize that this is something we have seen before. Rachel Carson’s big DDT scare, and The Population Bomb—-mass hysterical movements driven by “plausible but untrue” scientific theories and data. Here we are again with human-caused global warming. It’s another politicized and dangerous farce being promoted by the clueless media.

I think that perhaps a more universal point is that the Liberals are the modern Tories—people who are looking for a King—-the federal government—to take care of them and tell them what to do and how to do it. We have Tories in our midst, and once we understand that, we know what to do. Our pity for the would-be slaves should not delay our action.

Hopefully not. It is understandable that many American’s would love the opportunity to take advantage of this plan again but the actual cost to the taxpayer far outweighs the benefit the program provided. As our deficit grows due to sweeping social reforms and programs such as cash for clunkers it would behoove us to look at the burden we will be leaving future generations. As the Iroquois Indian Confederacy once said “In our every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations.” That is some good advice for our overconfident and cocky representatives in Washington.
